On every working day in December, you can always hear Liu Qiangdong's voice in the conference room of JD's Yizhuang headquarters in Beijing: at the "offline business philosophy learning meeting" for all JD employees, videos recorded in advance for up to four hours were played - Liu Qiangdong's "monologue" lasted nearly an hour and a half. After that, almost all JD executives, such as Liu Qiangdong, Xu Lei, Xin Lijun, came out to share their experiences in turn.
Liu Qiangdong's one-and-a-half hour "monologue" shocked the employees involved in the study. In the video, Liu Qiangdong not only denounced those middle and senior managers who "cheat" themselves with PPT and new words, but also directly mentioned the sensitive links of JD at present:
"One of JD's top leaders is me, and the other is Xu Lei. I define myself as a retreat, while Xu is pragmatic, which is his task... I have been trying to delegate power in various ways in recent years." Liu Qiangdong said in the video.
The learning meeting is highly confidential, and is regarded as the most important and largest "training meeting" of JD in the past few years: although the group level promotes it in the name of "voluntary enrollment for learning", almost all business lines and departments require all employees to learn. JD employees participating in the learning are required to shut down, not allow video recording, and not allow disclosure of learning content.
