About 90.1% of them are 65 years old and above, of which about 56.5% are 80 years old and above. More than 90% of the deaths are complicated with basic diseases, mainly cardiovascular diseases, advanced tumors, cerebrovascular diseases, respiratory diseases, metabolic diseases and renal insufficiency.Jiao Yahui emphasized that because winter itself is the season of high incidence of respiratory diseases and aggravation of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in the elderly, and it has recently been superimposed with Covid-19 infection and other factors, the number of elderly deaths is relatively high, which also suggests that we should pay more attention to elderly patients and try our best to save their lives.
